Job Description:

We are looking for a data driven Web Designer with a background in ecommerce, to design and optimise our websites. You’ll be working closely with different verticals of our team to create a frictionless and engaging web experience for our customers and be responsible for all web-related activities, template creation, content distribution, merchandising, back-end functionality, CMS management and much more.

What You Will Do:

Requiring both technical and creative skills, the Web Designer should typically possess the following:
Designing engaging and responsive landing webpages.
Create Inspirational digital experiences for Advanced core digital platforms, website and email.
Drive and encourage big ideas and innovative design approaches and processes.
Drive the entire end to end creative process through ideation, concepts, Prototyping, Final Design Visuals, Design /Graphical Toolkits.
Optimising websites for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure that user journeys across mobile and desktop products are responsive and adaptive and meet the needs of the business through UX project work.
Liaising with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated.
Working with marketing and research teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into website.
Provide proactive solutions to improve the customer experience, based on data insights and user feedback.
Setup & maintain dashboards to understand global site performance and provide insights.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

Capability to build, tweak and change web content using HTML, CSS.
Experience in web design for ecommerce; analysing user flows, funnels and behaviour for web optimisation
Motivated by optimisation - i.e. increasing sales, reducing bounce rate, improving conversion rate etc.
Skilled in Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Analytical thinking with a strong commercial acumen
Confidence in presenting findings to key stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
Strong time management amongst shifting priorities with ability to cope well under pressure
A collaborative approach in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
Creatively minded with an ability to conceive exciting ideas for new initiatives

Job details:

Contract basis: Full time
Location: Bradford, UK
Holidays: 28 days holiday per year.
Salary: £21,000
